We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.


2. Returns and Refunds Policy

2.1 Change of Mind

Due to the hygiene nature of our products, we do not accept change-of-mind returns, exchanges, or refunds. All sales are final.

2.2 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at [insert email]. Include your order number, photos of the issue, and a description. We will assess and advise on a resolution, which may include replacement or refund at our discretion.

2.3 Shipping Damage

If your item arrives damaged due to transit, please retain all packaging and contact us immediately. We may require photos to lodge a claim with the courier.

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Bank transfer refunds may take additional time depending on your bank.


3. Hygiene and Safety

All masks and related products are personal hygiene items. For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any items that have been worn, used, or removed from their original packaging.


4. Pricing and Payments

4.1 Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Credit / Debit Card
  • Bank Transfer

4.3 Bank Transfer Orders

If you choose bank transfer, your order will be held for 3 business days pending payment. If payment is not received within this time, your order will be automatically cancelled.

Orders paid by bank transfer will only be dispatched once funds have cleared into our account.

4.4 Payment Errors

We are not liable for any errors made by you when entering payment details. It is your responsibility to ensure all information is correct.


5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Dispatch Time

Orders are processed within 1-5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Bank transfer orders are processed only after payment clears.

5.2 Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, customs, or unforeseen circumstances.

5.3 Incorrect Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We are not responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address provided by you. If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping.

5.4 Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order is handed to the courier, responsibility transfers to you. We are not liable for lost or stolen packages. If you have concerns, please contact the courier directly with your tracking number.


6. Product Availability and Accuracy

6.1 Stock Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability. If this occurs, you will be notified and refunded in full.

6.2 Product Descriptions

We strive to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate. However, colours and details may vary slightly due to screen settings or manufacturing variations. We do not guarantee that product descriptions are error-free.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, The Mask Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to your purchase shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product in question.


8. Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded. These terms are intended to comply with the Act and will be interpreted accordingly.
